Pilates, Florals & 45 Incredible Women: Inside Our Pilates & Florals Girls Night
Some events just have a really special energy from the moment they start - and our Pilates & Florals Girls Night at MAS Studios in Calgary was definitely one of them.
With 45 women in the room, matching outfits, a full mat Pilates class, a floral workshop, and a social hour to finish the night, it was the perfect mix of movement, creativity, and connection.
Which is exactly the kind of experience we love creating at YYC Girls Night.
Starting the Day with Pilates
We kicked off the event at MAS Studios, one of Calgary’s most beautiful studio spaces.
Every guest arrived to something pretty fun waiting for them: matching outfits from Glowmode, along with coordinated yoga mats and water bottles for the class. Seeing the entire room dressed and set up together instantly made the event feel extra special.
Once everyone settled in, we started the night with a Mat Pilates class led by Mandy Giaccetta.
It was the perfect way to begin the evening - energizing, welcoming, and a great way to break the ice before the rest of the event.
A Floral Workshop with Fleur Seduction
After Pilates, we transitioned into the creative portion of the night with a floral workshop hosted by Fleur Seduction.
Guests had the chance to create their own beautiful arrangements while chatting with the women around them. It was relaxed, hands-on, and honestly such a fun contrast to the workout we had just finished.
Watching everyone’s different arrangements come together was one of our favourite parts of the evening.
Social Hour, Music & Treats
Once the workshop wrapped up, the night turned into a full Girls Night social hour.
With music from DJ Morinee, the energy in the room shifted into celebration mode. Women mingled, took photos, showed off their florals, and enjoyed some amazing treats from By Ollia.
This part of the evening is always one of our favourites - when everyone relaxes, conversations flow, and new friendships start forming around the room.
The Perfect Ending
Before heading home, every guest received a Glowmode goodie bag filled with a towel and headband, the perfect little reminder of the night.
Between the Pilates class, florals, music, and the amazing group of women who showed up, it truly felt like one of those events where everything just came together.
Why We Love Events Like This
One of the goals of YYC Girls Night is to create experiences where women in Calgary can try something new, meet great people, and walk away feeling energized and inspired.
Our Pilates & Florals event at MAS Studios did exactly that - combining wellness, creativity, and community all in one evening.
And if the smiles, photos, and conversations at the end of the night were any indication, it’s safe to say the energy in that room was pretty special.
